How to Travel Between the Galápagos Islands by Ferry: Everything You Need to Know

Traveling between the inhabited islands of the Galápagos — Santa Cruz, San Cristóbal, Isabela, and Floreana — is done only by ferry.
If you want to explore the other islands, you’ll need to book a daily tour 🐢.

⚠️ Note: There are no direct ferries between Isabela and San Cristóbal — you must stop in Santa Cruz to continue your journey.

💼 Luggage and Extra Fees

🧳 Each passenger may bring up to 2 bags (23 kg total).
💲 Extra weight over 23 kg costs $10.
🚲 Surfboards or bicycles: additional $10 fee.

⏰ Check-in and Boarding
