Galápagos Ferry Luggage Policy: What You Need to Know
Luggage policy at a glance:
- No extra charge for standard luggage
- 1–2 suitcases per person allowed
- $10 extra for bicycles or surfboards
Actually, no extra is charged for luggage. You can bring one or two suitcases per person, even large or heavy ones over 25 kilos, and there is no additional fee. For a full breakdown of travel costs, you can check our Galápagos ferry prices for 2026-2027.

The only extra charge applies if you bring a bicycle or a surfboard. In that case, the additional cost is 10 dollars.
For regular luggage, it is included, whether you bring one or two bags per person. It is highly recommended that you share your information in advance so we can coordinate how much luggage each person will bring and ensure everything runs smoothly during your trip.
When you inform us, we share this information with the boat crew so they can provide better service and assistance if needed. If you are ready to travel with your gear, you can book your ferry tickets here and let us know your requirements.
